I am an HR Team Lead, leading and supporting the HR team in recruitment and onboarding while aiming to offer the highest quality of service to candidates and volunteers. As an experienced HR professional with a Master’s degree in Labor Law and a Master’s degree in HR Management, I find volunteering for FUNetix to be a rewarding experience, helping to reach universal literacy.

I am a passionate HR professional with expertise in a variety of HR operations located in the Boston, MA area. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business and am a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). I was an avid reader as a child and am proud to support Funetix's mission. In my free time, you might find me practicing yoga, going to concerts, or playing cards.

I am from New York and have been working in HR for 6 years. I’ve served in various environments (non-profit, private sector, and public sector). I’ve been living on the West Coast for about 3 years now and an MBA in HR. I grew up volunteering at local community-based organizations and non-profits doing everything from community organizing to counseling students to HR. The work that Funetix is doing greatly aligns with my personal values and I’m excited to help contribute!

I am an HR Onboarding Coordinator, working alongside the HR team to ensure a positive, smooth start for all of our FUNetix volunteers. I also a Campus Recruiter with a large consulting organization with an education in Human Resources and Marketing. With a passion for people, I am excited about the difference our team makes in the literacy space.

I have recently moved to the United States and am living with my husband in New Jersey. I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources - CIPD certified, from King’s College London and have enjoyed working for different HR domains in Mauritius and India for four years. I remain intrinsically motivated to contribute to society and my multicultural work experience has helped me evolve as a person. I believe the instinct to help someone is also a sign of personal well-being.
